Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 August 2026

Highstreet Digital is a business run by Muhammed Abubaker Aboo (sole proprietor), based in Pretoria, South Africa. Contact: moe@highstreetdigital.co.za.

This policy explains how we handle personal information, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

1. What we collect

When you become a client, we collect the information needed to build and run your website and to bill you — your name, business name, contact details, and the content you provide for your site. Payment card details are handled entirely by our payment processor, PayFast; we never see or store them.

2. How we use it

Only to provide our service: to build and maintain your website, to communicate with you, and to collect payment. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it except with the suppliers needed to run the service (such as our hosting provider and payment processor), who are bound to protect it.

3. Your website’s visitors

Where your website collects information from your own customers — for example through an enquiry form — you are the responsible party for that information, and we act on your instructions. Those enquiries are delivered to you, not to us.

4. Keeping it secure

We take reasonable steps to keep personal information secure, including SSL encryption on the websites we host and restricted access to accounts. We keep information only as long as needed to provide the service or as the law requires.

5. Your rights

You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email moe@highstreetdigital.co.za.

6. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page.
